To all our wonderful X-Casters, do we have a treat in store for you...
Yes, I know we haven't put many episodes out lately since Season 2 wrapped up, but that doesn't mean we haven't busily been recording away for weeks now on the big announcement we have for you today...
What's that when it's at home? I hear you ask. Well! Remember 201 Days of The X-Files in the run up to Season 10? Remember how fun it was watching an episode every day before the S10 premiere? Well imagine if you were able to listen to a podcast about The X-Files EVERY DAY before the S11 premiere...
Imagine no longer - because that's what the Podwatch is going to deliver!
Starting October 13's (1013, naturally!), The X-Cast is going daily. We will be talking about EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of The X-Files, two at a time, every day until the end of January!
Now we know we don't have an exact airdate yet for Season 11, so the date we start the Podwatch could change. It could start sooner, it may start later. For now, the date is set. We'll see. Like colonisation, it may shift about a bit. But the aim is to try and time, as best we can, listening to the Podwatch and running straight into our daily Season 11 breakdown coverage.
We've managed to recruit an amazing group of podcasters to join us in making the Podwatch a reality, including many people who you'll have heard on the X-Cast before - Carl Sweeney, Sarah Blair, Andrew Brooker, Darren Mooney, Baz Greenland, Zach Moore, Brandon Shea-Mutala, Andrew Blaker, Clara Cook, Russell Hugo, Lauren Forry, Keith R.A. DeCandido and more! Our huge thanks goes out to them for the time they have already given up for this project and the time they'll give up to come - as recording is still very much underway!
Keep an eye on our Twitter and blog for more updates on the Podwatch over the next few months, and we will have one or two episodes beforehand over the summer and early autumn to keep you going, but October onwards we invite you to join us in a massive rewatch of the show we love so much, before the next phase of the journey.
Let us know your thoughts and, remember, The Truth is in Here...
