Following the abduction of Scully from her home by Duane Barry, Mulder and the FBI marshal their forces as a manhunt to find her begins. Mulder, driven to obsession, finds a lead that could help him intercept Duane at his destination, Skyland Mountain, but as his duplicitous partner Alex Krycek is ordered to stop him, can Mulder save Scully before she's abducted by mysterious forces?

As Mulder increasingly gears the negotiation toward exploring Duane's experiences, Scully uncovers information on the man which could put both their lives in serious danger...
